Bottle size, glass, closure and a label designed for your edition. Bottle at cask strength or choose your ABV.

I handle the purchase, bottling and regulatory requirements of the release, then take care of transport to a place of your choice.
I’m Uri Glatt, a whisky and rum enthusiast who’s been exploring spirits in depth since 2019. Over the years, I’ve tasted hundreds of spirits, and in 2022, I co-founded the Israel Rum Society.
Having collaborated with clubs and other organizations on several cask bottlings, I’m now opening that experience to you - from finding your cask to holding your own edition in your hands.
If you’re thinking about a private bottling of your own, get in touch. I’d be glad to talk through the possibilities with you.
I don't believe in buying casks as an investment, and I don't give advice on it. I think a cask should be bought with a bottling in mind - maybe an event that's coming up, or something you want to put aside for a few years. I'll look through what's available from my brokers and suppliers to find the cask that best fits your idea and brings it to life. If you're buying now and bottling later, I can also help arrange storage. I generally work with full casks (part-casks are sometimes possible too), so individual bottles aren't for sale.
Scotch, Irish and other British whiskies, rum from a wide range of origins around the world, and occasionally Calvados, Cognac and Armagnac.
In most cases I can add a UK kosher stamp. There are different schools of thought regarding the kashrut of alcoholic beverages without supervision and a stamp - I can advise you on that as well.
Right now the options are import into Israel, or handover to you in the UK or Europe. For import into any other country, get in touch and I'll try to find a solution.
Unfortunately not - I work with whole casks. Sometimes part of a cask can be bottled, so get in touch and I'll check.
Your chosen cask, privately bottled, beautifully labelled and delivered to your door. I'll guide you through the process and help with everything along the way. We'll agree exactly what's included before we begin.
It depends on the cask. For example, small wine casks called Octaves can yield as little as 100 bottles, while large sherry puncheons can yield around 700. The exact number is only known once the cask is measured, though I can usually give a good estimate. As a rule, I bottle full casks - contact me to discuss a partial bottling.
Usually 4 to 7 months. The timing depends mainly on the Israeli Ministry of Health requirements - I know the process and keep it moving as fast as it allows.
The price depends on the distillery, the cask's age, volume and ABV, the number of bottles and your project requirements. As a rough guide, a project using one of the more affordable casks could cost around ₪50,000, including VAT, for about 220 bottles.
I don't believe in buying casks as an investment, and I don't give advice in that area. Buying a cask in advance, for an event or to build future stock, is something I do believe in. I can help you buy a cask that will be ready when the newborn turns 13, in time for the wedding, or for next year's party - and if you'd rather sell it than bottle it, that's something I can help with too.
Of course! Any group can share a cask. If needed, different bottling specifications, such as labels and bottle sizes, can be used for portions of the same cask. Tell me what you have in mind, and we'll work out the details together.
For sure, but this extends the timeline and adds the cost of sourcing and purchasing the finishing cask.
